Phelisanong is a grassroots, indigenous led project that thrives in a very challenging environment. An initiative led by Africans of vision and boundless energy, the project’s success rests on the shoulders of those who work, day in and day out, to sustain it. Every penny the group receives is used to maximum effect: “there is little water spilled when it is being carried uphill”.

Supporters and friends are invited to join Phelisanong in their community’s journey from emergency to emergence. Your money can:

Sponsor a Child: $30/month or $360 a year . Feed an orphan $5 a month or $60 a year . Pay for a Scholarship $333 per student . Buy Books & Uniform $77 . Plant 10 fruit trees $50 . Buy a soccer ball $15 or boots $30 .
