Phelisanong is a community based organization in Lesotho, southern Africa. Founded in 2000 by a group of disabled and HIV positive villagers, the group has become a force for positive change in the region, helping vulnerable and disadvantanged people move from ‘emergency to emergence’

Phelisanong operate an HIV/AIDS Outreach Program, a regional food security initiative, a primary school, high school, and community library, and a home for disabled and chronically ill children.
